Variable Plan discounted for the first 2 months
The Variable Plan with a discount – for new New York Natural Gas residential customers only – has a guaranteed savings of at least 20% off of New York Natural Gas's Variable Plan at the standard price for the first two months of service. This plan does not require a commitment; you can change to another plan at any time with no additional charges. Upon expiration of the discount, customers will remain on the New York Natural Gas Variable Plan with service at the standard rate in effect at that time. Variable rate may change or stay the same each month based on market conditions.
12-Month Fixed Plan
If you choose our 12-Month Fixed Plan, you will be billed at a fixed price per Ccf for the length of the plan. This fixed price plan gives you the peace of mind of knowing exactly what you will pay for the gas you use over the 12 month period of your plan. This plan requires a 12-month commitment. If you terminate your fixed price plan prior to its scheduled expiration, we will assess you an early termination charge of $100 if termination occurs during the first half of the plan's term and $50 if termination occurs during the second half of the plan's term. Such charge is intended to compensate us for losses and expenses estimated to be incurred as the result of the early termination of your fixed price plan.
6-Month Fixed Plan
If you choose our 6-Month Fixed Plan, you will be billed at a fixed price per Ccf for the length of the plan. This fixed price plan gives you the peace of mind of knowing exactly what you will pay for the gas you use over the 6-month period of your plan. This plan requires a 6-month commitment. If you terminate your plan up to 45 days prior to its scheduled expiration, we will assess you an early termination charge of $50. Such charge is intended to compensate us for losses and expenses estimated to be incurred as the result of the early termination of your fixed price plan.
Variable Plan
With our Variable Plan, gas service is billed at a competitive price per Ccf that may change or stay the same each month based on market conditions. A great feature of this plan is that it is a month to month contract; this means you can change your mind at any time without an early termination charge!
